President of the Jamaica Cycling Federation Dr. Wayne Palmer says there is a real possibility that the days when fans use to pack the National Stadium to watch the country’s leading riders could be back.
Dr. Palmer who on Sunday defeated Donna Sharpe 18/11 to replace Joylene Griffiths as national cycling head, says bringing back Cycling to the forefront of National life is something he is passionate about and will be working to achieve that goal during his tenure.
Dr. Palmer says similar to the other so called minor sports, cycling struggles for funding, but he says it doesn’t have to be that way as funding can be had using a number of avenues.
That’s President of the Jamaica Cycling Federation Dr. Wayne Palmer.
